Actually given that the Torrent Server needs to be connected to the internet for updates. And Bioperl and Biopython are probably a good thing to install on it. It should be relatively trivial for the Torrent Browser to download and add a reference genome given a GI number. Auto download of genomes would definitely make the alignment an even painless procedure.
